River Grove, Grayslake and Elgin, Ill. - The Elgin Community College volleyball team went 1-2 this week.

The Spartans move to 7-15 in their overall season.

Oct. 6: ECC 1, Triton 3

Team leaders included Mia Jones in kills (11) and points (11), Sydney Pieron in assists (19), Bryanna Sanchez in aces (two) and digs (15) and Anna Van Hauter and Emma Turner in blocks (three).

Oct. 8: Lake County 3, ECC 0

Ireland Mahoney and Turner led in kills (four), Pieron in assists (11), Annie Tiu in digs (12) and Turner in points (six).

Oct. 11: ECC 3, Wright 1

Team leaders included Turner in kills (six), Pieron in assits (16), Katey Mitchell in service aces (five) and digs (13) and Jones in points (eight).

Elgin is back on the road to face UW-Whitewater at Rock County on Tuesday at 6 p.m.
