Elgin, Ill. - The Elgin Community College volleyball team bested Kishwaukee in three sets on Friday night.

The Spartans improve to 4-11 in their overall season.

Team leaders included Emma Turner in kills (11) and points (11.5), Sydney Pieron in assists (16), Katey Mitchell in aces (four), Annie Tiu and Mitchell in digs (10) and Keiaira Spates in blocks (four).

Elgin is back on the road to take on Malcolm X on Tuesday at 6 p.m.
