Freeport and Joliet, Ill. - The Elgin Community College volleyball team fell in a pair of games on Thursday and Saturday.
The Spartans move to 1-6 in their overall season.
August 28: ECC 0, Highland 3
Team leaders included Ireland Mahoney and Emma Turner in kills (three), Sydney Pieron in assists (seven), Katey Mitchell in digs (nine), Alyssa Wysuph in solo blocks and Keiaira Spates in block assists (two). Mahoney was the team leader in points with 3.5.
August 30: ECC 0, Joliet 3
Team leaders in this match included Spates and Turner in kills (two), Pieron in assists (three), Turner in service aces (two), Mitchell in digs (14) and Turner in points (four).
The Spartans are back on the road to face Morton on Wednesday at 6 p.m.
