Elgin, Ill. - The Elgin Community College volleyball team team was bested 3-1 by Prairie State on Wednesday night.

The Spartans move to 1-4 in their overall season.

Prairie State took the first, third and fourth sets as ECC forced a set four by winning the second set.

Team leaders included Emma Turner in kills (eight) and points (eight), Sydney Pieron in assists (16), Katey Mitchell in aces (two) and digs (16) and Alyssa Wysuph in blocks (three).

ECC will be on the road to face Highland on Thursday at 6 p.m.
