Elgin, Ill. - The Elgin Community College volleyball team suffered a 3-0 loss to Waubonsee on Wednesday night.

The Spartans move to 2-8 overall and 0-3 in Illinois Skyway Collegiate Conference (ISCC) play.

Team leaders included Mia Jones and Emma Turner in kills (four), Sydney Pieron in assists (seven) and aces (two), Nylea Castillo in digs (eight) and Turner in solo blocks (one) and points (five).

Elgin travels to Olive-Harvey to play on Saturday at noon.
