McHenry and Elgin, Ill. - The Elgin Community College women's basketball team fell in a pair of conference games this week.

The Spartans move to 11-17 overall and 4-8 in Illinois Skyway Collegiate Conference (ISCC) play.

Feb. 10: Elgin 57, McHenry 68

Team leaders included Mazaiah Marc in points (nine) and rebounds (nine) and Asha Gray in assists (four).

ECC held a three point lead after the first quarter but were unable to overcome the eight point halftime deficit before falling by 11 points.

Feb. 12: Waubonsee 90, Elgin 60

Elgin suffered a loss to Waubonsee on sophomore night, where the school and team honored Alisea Doan and Abigail Esparza.

The Spartans will be on the road for the final two games of the regular season. ECC plays Morton on Tuesday and Moraine Valley on Thursday with both tip-offs slated for 5:15 p.m.
