Elgin, Ill. - The Elgin Community College women's basketball team split a pair of conference games this week.

The Spartans move to 11-13 overall and 4-4 in Illinois Skyway Collegiate Conference (ISCC) play.

Jan. 27: Moraine Valley 87, Elgin 60

Team leaders included Christiana Glover in points (16), Mazaiah Marc in rebounds (nine) and Asha Gray in assists (three) and steals (four).

Jan. 29: Prairie State 59, Elgin 71

ECC earned their second win over Prairie State this season.

Five players scored double digits including Gray, Marc, Abigail Esparza, Heaven Sims and Tori Ruffin. Sims and Marc posted double-doubles with a combined 28 rebounds.

The Spartans are back on the road to face Lake County on Tuesday at 5:15 p.m.
