Sugar Grove and Elgin, Ill. - The Elgin Community College women's basketball team split a pair of conference games and fell to Black Hawk this week.
The Spartans move to 10-12 overall and 3-3 in Illinois Skyway Collegiate Conference (ISCC) play.

Kenyia Pittman led the team off the bench with nine points with Christiana Glover and Tori Ruffin grabbing a team-high five rebounds.
Jan. 22: Morton 57, ECC 102
Elgin scored the highest number of points in a game since at least 2014 in this dominant win. Six players scored double figures including Abigail Esparza (21), Mazaiah Marc (19), Asha Gray (12), Glover and Ruffin (11) and Sami Carlino (10).
