Elgin, Ill. - The Elgin Community College women's basketball team clinched a 54-53 win over DuPage on Saturday afternoon.

The Spartans improve to 3-9 in their overall season as the Chaps move to 3-7.

Team leaders included Ceili Ramirez in points (14) and steals (three), Zoey Wilson in assists (six), Mikaylah Patronas in rebounds (five) and Shayne LaRock in blocks (one).

Patronas' shot and made the final free throws of the game to clinch the close victory.

The Spartans are back on the road to take on Kishwaukee on Tuesday at 6 p.m.
