Elgin, Ill. - The Elgin Community College women's basketball team suffered a 95-37 loss to No. 11 Rock Valley on Tuesday night.

The Spartans move to 1-6 in their overall record as the Golden Eagles improve to 4-0.

Top scorers were Zoey Wilson and Alyssa Wysuph with nine apiece. Shayne LaRock grabbed a team-high seven rebounds as she and Wilson recorded three assists.

Elgin trailed just six points after the first quarter and 30-13 to enter halftime. RVC's big second half lifted them to the victory.

The Spartans travel to face Carl Sandburg on Tuesday at 6 p.m.
