Elgin, Ill., Feb. 15, 2022 - The Elgin Community College women's basketball team was edged 55-45 by the College of Lake County on Tuesday night.

The Spartans dip to 3-19 overall and 0-11 in Illinois Skyway Collegiate Conference (ISCC) play as the Lancers move to 4-19 and 2-8.

ECC led 23-32 at halftime, but a big third quarter from CLC put them at a 41-37 advantage entering the fourth.

Lake County outscored Elgin in the final 10 minutes to secure the visitor win.

The Spartans travel to Cicero, Ill. on Friday to play Morton in the final ISCC contest of the regular season. Tip-off is slated for 4 p.m.
