Sugar Grove, Ill., Feb. 1, 2022 - The Elgin Community College women's basketball team suffered an 86-46 loss to Waubonsee on Tuesday night.

The Spartans dip to 3-16 overall and 0-8 in Illinois Skyway Collegiate Conference (ISCC) play as the Chiefs improve to 16-4 and 6-2.

Jessie Dumoulin registered a team-high 21 points and four steals as Takara Campbell grabbed seven rebounds.

Elgin found its most dominant quarter in the first, scoring 16 points, but trailed 47-28 entering the half. The women were unable to make-up the deficit as they fell 86-46.

The Spartans travel to Palos Hills, Ill. on Tuesday to face Moraine Valley at 5:15 p.m.
