Elgin, Ill., Jan. 22, 2022 - The Elgin Community College women's basketball team fell 67-41 to Moraine Valley on Saturday afternoon.

The Spartans dip to 3-13 as the Cyclones move to 9-10.

Jessie Dumoulin posted a double-double with 22 points and 10 rebounds. Takara Campbell registered five steals and Ariann Franco tallied eight points.

Elgin excelled in the first half with a .318 shooting percentage, but trailed 35-24 entering the third quarter.

Moraine Valley found its most dominant offense in the third, outscoring ECC 23-8.

Unable to make-up the deficit, Elgin suffered the 67-41 loss.

The Spartans host No. 12 Morton on Tuesday at 5:15 p.m.
