Malta, Ill., Dec. 21, 2021 - The Elgin Community College women's basketball team lost its final game of the calendar year to Kishwaukee by a score of 73-64 on Tuesday night.
The Spartans dip to 3-8 as the Kougars improve to 7-5.
Jessie Dumoulin recorded a double-double with 25 points and 14 rebounds. She also tallied four steals to lead the team.
Trinity Reyes registered a team-high seven assists. Ariann Franco reached double digits in scoring with 12 points.
ECC led 12-11 in the first quarter and entered the second half tied at 27 points apiece.
Kish pulled away in the third with 29 points to ultimately seal its 73-64 victory over Elgin.
The Spartans begin conference play on Jan. 4 at McHenry.
