Grayslake, Ill. - The Elgin Community College volleyball team fell 3-0 to College of Lake County on Wednesday night.

The Spartans dip to 4-8 overall and 0-3 in Illinois Skyway Collegiate Conference (ISCC) play as the Lancers improve to 5-8 and 2-1.

Leah Murphy recorded a team-high nine kills, six digs and 11 points as Jadyn Booz-Bruce tallied the most assists with nine. Ryann Mitchell registered a season-best three blocks.

ECC was edged 25-15, 25-21 and 25-8 in three sets.

The Spartans travel to Joliet and Sugar Grove this weekend for the Region 4 Crossover Tournament.
