Elgin, Ill. - The Elgin Community College volleyball team fell in three sets to Moraine Valley on Wednesday night.

The Spartans move to 3-5 overall and 0-1 in Illinois Skyway Collegiate Conference (ISCC) competition as the Cyclones improve to 6-2 and 2-0.

Team leaders included Leah Murphy in kills (eight), solo blocks (two) and points (13) and Cece Gonzales in assists (16).

ECC fell 25-14 in each of the three sets.

The Spartans host Triton on Friday at 6 p.m.
