Rockford, Ill., August 27, 2021 – The Elgin Community College volleyball lost matches to Black Hawk College-Moline and Rock Valley College at the Rock Valley Tri on Friday.

ECC first fell 3-0 to Black Hawk, with set scores totaling 25-17, 25-21 and 25-15. The 21 points scored in the second set is the highest of the season.

The women lost 25-7, 25-11 and 25-9 to Rock Valley in the second and final match of the day.

Next up for the Spartans is the first conference match-up of the season, hosted by Moraine Valley Community College on Sept. 1 at 6 p.m.
