Elgin, Ill. - The Elgin Community College women's soccer team earned a 3-0 shutout over Prairie State on Wednesday.

The Spartans improve to 4-5-1 overall and 3-0-1 in Illinois Skyway Collegiate Conference (ISCC) play.

Adrianely Galicia scored her first goal of the season with an assist from Cassandra Magallanes in the 36th minute.

Magallanes also scored her first goal and was assisted by Adeline Kinsella at the 68:09 mark.

Elena Carlos put the ball in the back of the net in the 88th minute to clinch the 3-0 victory.

Delaney Schulz recorded three saves throughout the game.

Elgin is back on the road to face fsdajk on Friday at 6 p.m.
