Elgin, Ill. - The Elgin Community College women's soccer team fell 3-2 to St. Clair on Friday.
The Spartans move to 1-3 in their overall record.
Adeline Kinsella scored the first goal of the game on a penalty kick. Cassandra Magallanes earned penalty for the goal at the 7:05 mark.
St. Clair scored in the 14th minute to tie the game at 1-1.
Julissa Ortiz found the back of the net with an assist from Elena Carlos after 30 minutes of play.
The Skippers scored in the 32nd and 40th minutes to take and hold the 3-2 lead.
Carlos led the team with three shots as she and six other players recorded shots on goal. Sabrina Ramos recorded two saves in her 45 minutes played in the second half.
The Spartans are back on the road to face Bryant & Stratton on Tuesday at 1 p.m.
