Chicago, Heights, Ill. - The Elgin Community College women's soccer team fell 7-1 to Prairie State on Wednesday night.

The Spartans dip to 0-4 overall and 0-2 in Illinois Skyway Collegiate Conference (ISCC) play as the Pioneers improve to 2-3 and 1-2.

ECC registered seven shots on goal and recorded the lone goal at the beginning of the game. The defense was unable to hold of PSC's strong offense as they scored four goals in the first half and three in the second to secure the 7-1 win.

The Spartans travels to Sugar Grove to face No. 15 Waubonsee on Wednesday at 4 p.m.
