Elgin, Ill. - The Elgin Community College women's soccer team was edged 5-3 by Black Hawk College on Monday.

The Spartans move to 0-3 as the Braves improve to 2-3.

BHC put two goals on the board to enter halftime with a 2-0 lead.

Playing one person down, Kylie Brazill scored back-to-back goals at 55:58 and 56:34 to tie the game up.

Black Hawk countered with a goal just 50 seconds later to take back the lead at 3-2.

Brazill recorded a hat trick with a goal at 66:48 with an assist from Ariann Franco.

BHC scored at 70:28 and 82:56 to secure the 5-3 win.

The Spartans travel to Chicago Heights to face Prairie State on Wednesday at 4 p.m.
