River Grove, Ill., Oct. 13, 2021 - The Elgin Community College women's soccer team suffered a 4-1 loss to Triton on Wednesday.

The Spartans dip to 5-7-1 as the Trojans improve to 6-2.

Triton struck early with goals in the ninth and 23rd minutes for the 2-0 lead entering the second half.

Mia Kraft found the lone Spartan goal of the game in the 80th minute to prevent the shutout.

The Trojans second half goals came in the 66th and 89th minutes to hand the Spartans the 4-1 loss.

ECC hosts South Suburan for Sophomore Night on Tuesday at 3:30 p.m.
