Elgin, Ill., August 9, 2021 – Elgin Community College head women's soccer coach Edwin Jaramillo has announced the 2021 game schedule.

The Spartans will play 13 games, with seven being Illinois Skyway Collegiate Conference (ISCC) competition.

The first three games are on the road, starting with the College of DuPage on August 21. Morton College will be the first ISCC team they face on Sept. 1 with Oakton one week later on Sept 8.

ECC opens home play against Madison College on Sept. 11. The teams faced off last year in the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Region IV Tournament Championship, with Elgin advancing to the NJCAA National Championship with its 5-4 win.

They then host Illinois Valley on Sept. 13, Prairie State on Sept. 15 and Waubonsee on Sept. 22.

The Spartans hit the road on Sept. 29 to play Lake County and head back home to play Moraine Valley on Oct. 6.

Non-conference play wraps the regular season with travel to Illinois Valley on Oct. 9, Black Hawk College-Moline on Oct. 12 and Triton College on Oct. 13.

In the 2020-21 season, ECC won its first regional championship since 2009, earning the program's first trip to the NJCAA Division III National Championship.
