Moline, Ill. - The Elgin Community College softball team fell in the first two games of the Region 4 Tournament to end their 2026 campaign.

The team finished its season with a 9-27 overall record and went 6-8 in Illinois Skyway Collegiate Conference (ISCC) play.

Nine wins marks the most in a season since 2021 and the first time the team qualified for the postseason since 2019.

Softball recorded the highest team grade point average in the Fall 2025 semester with a 3.45.

Zoe Kaler and Kenya Ventura earned Honorable Mention All-Conference honors for their performance in conference games.
