Elgin, Ill. - The Elgin Community College softball team earned its first conference sweep of the season on Wednesday afternoon.
The Spartans improve to 3-13 overall and 2-4 in Illinois Skyway Collegiate Conference (ISCC) play.
Game One: Elgin 12, Oakton 4
Alyson Sebahar earned her first win of the season as she pitched six innings and struckout three batters.
Julissa Aguinaga led the offense with a team-high four hits and two RBI as Sebahar scored the most runs with three. Jamyra Thomas hit her first collegiate home run to bring in two RBI.
Game Two: Oakton 4, Elgin 7
Chloe Potter and Sebahar each tripled as Potter brought in three RBI. Sebahar and Potter tallied two hits apiece.
Kenya Ventura earned her first collegiate win with seven strikeouts as Sebahar collected her first save.
The Spartans travel to McHenry for a pair of games on Thursday. First pitch is slated for 3 p.m.
