Elgin, Ill. - The Elgin Community College softball team was bested by conference opponent Lake County on Tuesday afternoon.

The Spartans move to 1-11 overall and 0-2 in Illinois Skyway Collegiate Conference (ISCC) play.

Game One: Lake County 10, Elgin 1

Alyson Sebahar registered her first and the team's first home run of the season. She also collected two strikeouts as the starting pitcher.

Game Two: Lake County 16, Elgin 0

Camila Alonzo tallied two hits and Julissa Aguinaga, Chloe Potter, Ava Faber and Zoe Kaler each registered one.

The Spartans match-up against Moraine Valley on March 26 is postponed due to weather conditions.
