Danville, Ill. - The Elgin Community College softball team fell in a pair of games to Danville on Saturday afternoon.

The Spartans move to 1-9 in their overall season.

Game One: Elgin 4, Danville 10

Julissa Aguinaga led the offense as the lead-off batter as she collected three RBI on one hit. Jamyra Thomas scored two runs with one hit and Ava Faber tallied one run and one hit.

Game Two: Elgin 3, Danville 10

Kenya Ventura and Zoe Kaler each registered an RBI. Alyson Sebahar recorded one run on two hits as Maile Fuller and Zoie Adamson tallied one run on one hit.

The Spartans saw several postponements the week of March 15 due to field conditions. They look to resume play at home against Lake County on Tuesday, March 24 at 3 p.m.
