The Elgin Community College men's soccer team had five student-athletes earn All-Region recoginition.

First team honorees include Kevin Aguilar, Gabriel Arias and Adrian Diaz. Ariel Gomez and Nick Prus earned Second Team honors.

Diaz led the team with 13 goals and eight assists for 34 points. He ranks fifth in Region 4 in goals and shots (63) in just 13 games.

Aguilar, a sophomore transfer from Utah, tallied 10 goals and two assists with 22 points. He is featured 13th in goals amongst region players.

Arias earned Second Team honors last year and moved up to the First Team this season with four goals, including two game-winners, and one assist.

Gomez scored five goals as a defender with two game-winners for the second All-Region honor of his career.

Prus made an immediate impact as a freshman midfielder with seven goals, six assists to tally 20 points.

The Spartans concluded the 2025 season with a record of 12-5-4. They were also featured in national rankings in eight separate weeks.
