The Elgin Community College men's soccer team is in the 19th spot in the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division II Men's Soccer Rankings.
ECC was ranked No. 17 in the preseason poll based on their performance in the 2024 season.
Region 4 opponents Morton, Prairie State and Rock Valley were all knocked out of the top 20 in this week's rankings.
Elgin is off to a 3-1 start in their 2025 campaign. The sole loss came to then-ranked No. 15 Mineral Area to open the season.
Since the season opener, the Spartans are on a three-game winning streak, earning victories over South Suburban, previously ranked No. 14 Morton and St. Clair.
