Elgin, Ill. - The No. 17 Elgin Community College men's soccer team defeated nationally ranked Morton on Tuesday afternoon.
The Spartans improve to 2-1 in their overall season.
Kevin Aguilar netted the first goal of the game with an assist from Atlai Gutierrez.
Morton scored late in the first half to tie it up at 1-1 entering halftime.
Nick Prus scored the game winner and was assisted by Christian Escobedo.
ECC hosts St. Clair on Friday at 5 p.m.
