Elgin, Ill. - The Elgin Community College men's soccer team clinched a 3-1 victory over Daley on Saturday afternoon.

The Spartans improve to 2-4-1 as the Bulldogs dips to 0-8.

Jesus Alonso scored at 13 minutes to put the first point on the board.

Daley scored at 20 minutes to tie it up at 1-1.

Sammy Rodriguez hit the game-winner at the 37 minute mark to enter halftime with a 2-1 advantage.

Chris Reyes scored off of a penalty kick at 77 minutes to solidify the 3-1 victory.

The Spartans host Lake County on Tuesday at 4 p.m.
