River Grove, Ill. - The Elgin Community College men's soccer team suffered an 8-2 loss to No. 12 Triton on Saturday.

The Spartans move to 0-3 overall as the Trojans improve to 4-0.

Triton scored six goals in the first half, with Omar Olivo scoring in the 21st minute.

The Trojans put another two on the board before Andrew Montenegro scored with five minutes remaining for an 8-2 final.

The Spartans host No. 13 Morton on Thursday at 4 p.m.
