The Elgin Community College Athletics Department has announced the hiring of Diego Garcia as the new Head Men's Soccer Coach.

Garcia has served as the Staff Coach at Campton United since July 2021 and as the Goalkeeper/Assistant Coach at Chicago KICS Football Club and the Head Varsity Boys Soccer Coach at St. Rita High School since January 2021.

He founded DNA Goalkeeping Academy in August 2017 and is the owner and Goalkeeper Coach.

Garcia worked one season as the Goalkeeper Director and Staff Coach at KICS Football Club and as the Goalkeeper/Assistant Coach for women's soccer at Chicago State University.

He served as the Head Varsity Girls Coach at Nazareth Academy from 2018-2021 and was the assistant coach for the ECC men's soccer team in 2018.

Garcia earned his bachelor's degree in business administration from Judson University and a certificate in coaching from UAG Mexico in 2019.
