Glen Ellyn, Ill., Oct. 16, 2021 - The Elgin Community College men's soccer team was edged 1-0 by the College of DuPage on Tuesday.

The Spartans dip to 6-7 as the Chaparrals move to 6-9.

The game was evenly matched with neither team finding the edge. ECC registered eight shots, with four on goal.

DuPage's goal came in the 77th minute for the 1-0 win.

Harvey Partida recorded six saves from the box.

The Spartans are set to compete in the Region IV Quarterfinals on Saturday, Oct. 30 with the opponent to be determined.
