Grayslake, Ill., Sept. 21, 2021 - The Elgin Community College men's soccer team won its second game in a row, and third of the season, with a 2-1 victory over the College of Lake County.

The Spartans improve to 3-4 as the Lancers drop to 3-8.

Uriel Carachure scored both of the goals with Cesar Palomares dishing out both assists.

Kobe Frenette recorded a season-high six shots, Jose Banuelos tallied four, Palomares registered three with Josh Madsen, Cameron Kruk, Patrick Daley and Matt Polovin each shot once.

Harvey Partida registered two saves on the day.

The Spartans host Harper College on Saturday at 1 p.m.
