West Dundee, Ill. - The Elgin Community College men's golf team finished in second at the Elgin Invite on Wednesday afternoon.

Nooa Hakala tied for first after shooting a 73 with a par of 71. Michael Buono shot a season-best 76 to finish fifth out of 24 golfers.

Nathaniel Draper and Ethan Ward recorded a 77 and 78, respectively.

Nicholas Heinrich shot an 86 as an individual.

The Spartans wrap conference play on Oct. 1 at Waubonsee.
