Northbrook, Ill. - The Elgin Community College men's golf team won the Oakton Invitational on Wednesday afternoon.

The team combined for a 293 to win the invite and finish seven strokes ahead of Oakton.

Nooa Hakala finished first out of 25 golfers after shooting a 69, one under par. Ethan Ward recorded a runner-up finish with a 70.

Nicholas Heinrich shot a 76 as Nathaniel Draper wrapped up the team score with a 78.

Michael Buono registered an 80 as an individual.

The Spartans host their conference invite on Sept. 24 at 12:30 p.m.
