Elgin, Ill. - The Elgin Community College men's golf team accomplished a sixth-place finish at the Judson Invitational on Saturday.

ECC competed against two and four-year programs and combined for a 303 with a par of 71.

Nooa Hakala tied for first with a golfer from Division III Marian University. Hakala shot a 69, two strokes under par.

Nathaniel Draper tied for 12th with a 74 as Nicholas Heinrich finished with a 77 to tie for 32nd.

Ethan Ward carded an 83 for a 93rd place result and Jack Karpowicz tied for 138th with a 96.

A total of 144 golfers competed from 17 programs.

The Spartans are at Oakton on Wednesday. Tee-off is scheduled for 12:30 p.m.
