Freeport, Ill. - The Elgin Community College men's golf team finished 15th out of 20 teams at the Highland 36 Invitational on Friday.
Nooa Hakala shot a 156 to lead the team and tie for a 21st place finish. Nic Heinrich and Ethan Ward tied for 65th with a 169.
Nathaniel Draper placed 77th, Jack Karpowicz tied for 83rd out of 112 golfers. Michael Buono placed 100th as an individual.
The Spartans open conference play at Morton College's Invite on Wednesday at 12:30 p.m.
