Bristol, Ill., August 25, 2021 – The Elgin Community College men's golf team had three individuals compete in the first Illinois Skyway Collegiate Conference match of the season, hosted by Waubonsee.

Sophomore Brandon Jakl recorded an 88 to tie for an 11th-place finish in a field of 22 competitors. Payton Yee shot a 93 and Jack Charles rounded out the team with a 107.

Next up for the Spartans is an ISCC match, hosted by the College of Lake County, on Sept. 1 at 12:30 p.m.
