The No. 16 Elgin Community College baseball team (40-12) looks to extend its season at the NJCAA Region 4 Division II Finals in Madison, Wis.
The finals are a four-team double-elimination tournament. The champion of the tournament qualifies as the NJCAA Midwest District Champion for the 2025 NJCAA Division II Baseball World Series at David Allen Memorial Ballpark in Enid, Oklahoma, on May 24-31.
Teams competing include No. 7 Madison, No. 8 Kankakee and No. 11 Black Hawk.
Madison (40-9) and Black Hawk College (46-12) open play on Thursday at 9 a.m. while Elgin takes on Kankakee (44-8) at noon. The full schedule can be viewed here.
