Elgin, Ill. - The No. 23 Elgin Community College baseball team split a pair of games with No. 11 Black Hawk on Saturday afternoon.

The Spartans move to 36-12 in their overall season.

Game One: BHC 0, ECC 2

Josh Caccia earned his eighth win of the season. He threw just 80 pitches in seven innings and recorded six strikeouts.

Peter Mitchell, Andrew Flynn and Austin Alonso loaded up the bases in the third inning. Nick Weaver hit a sacrifice fly and Jack Kerno singled to push the two runs across.

Game Two: BHC 10, ECC 4

Weaver recorded three hits and Chris Lara registered two. Cole Clemens, Aiden Kashuba, Lara and Daniel Blickhan brought in one RBI apiece.

The Spartans host South Suburban for the final game of the regular season on Sunday at 1 p.m.
