Elgin Community College baseball student-athlete Erik Teran II was named to the 2023 NJCAA Division II All-North Central District/Region 4 Rawlings Gold Glove Team as a first baseman.
The Gold Glove is awarded to the top position player with the best fielding percentage in their respective position in the Region.
Teran posted a .994 fielding percentage by making just two errors in 346 total chances with 327 putouts.
He ranked sixth in the Region in total chances and putouts, ninth in double plays (17) and 17th in fielding percentage.
