Elgin, Ill. - The Elgin Community College baseball team clinched a 15-12 victory over Harper on Wednesday night.

The Spartans improve to 20-25 in their overall season as the Hawks dip to 8-27.

Charlie Jury tallied four RBI and two runs with a double and a home run. Logan Riley hit his first homer of the season and recorded three RBI and two runs. Erik Teran II led the team in runs with three.

Jaden Alberson earned the win with six strikeouts in six innings. Matt Reuscher clinched his second save in one inning with two strikeouts.

Ryan Caccia, Scott Emma, Gavin Crofoot and Nathan Euliano recorded one hit apiece in the high scoring affair.

The Spartans travel to Rockford to take on Rock Valley on Thursday at 2 p.m.
