Women's At-Large Academic All-District Team
Soccer players Kevin Aguilar, Ashley Crisci, Veronica Hein, Adeline Kinsella, Peyton Kohn and softball student-athletes Maile Fuller and Zoe Kaler have earned College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District honors.
The CSC Academic All-District program recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. To be eligible, a student-athlete must have participated in at least 90 percent of the team's competitions, with at least a 3.50 grade point average. Nominees must have completed a full calendar year at the current institution and must be of at least sophomore status academically and athletically.
Aguilar, a transfer from Tacoma Community College, tallied 10 goals and two assists with 22 points and was named First Team All-Region in the 2025 season. He accumulated a 3.66 grade point average and earned Academic All-Region and All-Conference honors as well as being named to the Elgin Community College Dean's and Honors Lists.
Crisci was a two-time captain for the Spartans in her two seasons with the program. She graduated with a 3.59 GPA and earned multiple academic honors, including National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) All-Academic, Academic All-Region three times and Academic All-Conference honors twice. Crisci was named to ECC's President's List in her first semester and twice to the Dean's List.
Hein, a top defender on the team, started all 34 games in the past two seasons. She is a two-time Academic All-America selection and earned Academic All-Region honors all four semesters and twice named Academic All-Conference. Hein graduated with a 3.69 grade point average and was named to Elgin's President's List twice along with the Dean's and Honors Lists.
Kinsella was a team captain and one of the women's top midfielders as she played in 33 games in her career with nine goals and four assists. Athletically, she earned Honorable Mention and First Team All-Conference and Second Team All-Region accolades. Kinsella earned Academic All-America in the 2024-25 school year and is a three-time Academic All-Region and two-time Academic All-Conference recipient. She additionally earned ECC President's and Dean's List honors. She will attend the Western Michigan University this Fall.
Fuller was the starting first baseman in her two years with the softball team. She is a two-time NJCAA Academic All-American, four-time All-Region and two-time Academic All-Conference honoree. Fuller earned President's List in three semesters and Dean's List one semester. She graduated with a 3.94 GPA and will be attending the University of Illinois.
Kaler made 52 game appearances in two years of starting in both the infield and outfield. She earned Honorable Mention All-Conference accolades for her performance in the 2026 season. Kaler earned Academic All-America honors twice, Academic All-Region four times and Academic All-Conference twice.
