Men's At-Large Academic All-District Team
Baseball student-athlete Charlie Jury and basketball player Isaiah Smith have earned College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District honors.
The CSC Academic All-District program recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. To be eligible, a student-athlete must have participated in at least 90 percent of the team's competitions, with at least a 3.50 grade point average. Nominees must have completed a full calendar year at the current institution and must be of at least sophomore status academically and athletically.
Jury graduated with a 3.57 grade point average and multiple academic honors, was was twice named to the Dean's List, Honors List, Academic All-Conference and Academic All-Region teams.
He earned Honorable Mention All-Conference honors in 2023 and Second Team recognition in 2024. Jury will be attending NCAA Division I Murray State University in the Fall.
Smith transferred to ECC for his sophomore year and graduated with a 3.61 GPA and garnered Honors List, Dean's List, Academic All-Conference and Academic All-Region recognition.
He also earned Honorable Mention All-Conference honors for his performance in the 2023-24 season. Smith is continuing his academic and basketball career at NAIA Governors State University.
